HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Organize with Unordered Lists

Cannot get image tag to work.

This is the Challenge Question: Inside the three new list items, add the following images: “numbers-01.jpg”, -02, -06 Leave the alt attributes blank. Don’t add any captions or links.

Message I receive: Make sure you include and image tag that displays “numbers-01.jpg”. Following is my code. I have been working on this a very long time and cannot see what is wrong.

Is there no way to go forward in these classes when you get stuck?

<li> <a href="img/numbers-01.jpg" <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-02.jpg" <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""> </a> </li> <li> <a href="img/numbers-06.jpg" <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt=""> </a> </li>

Hi April, Seems as if your calling the images as buttons with the href. The test might count this as wrong because you calling the images from a folder called "img" but the question doesn't let us know where the images live. Hope that helps!

Thanks Victor - This is what I thought I had tried several times before trying what you saw in my code...and I was getting the same error message. I just tried your code and it worked. Thank You.

Your Welcome! Good Luck!
