Cannot pass the objective, having a blackout

Message: Bummer! You selected the element, but have not gotten the value.

Hi there! The bummer message is correct. You have selected the element but not yet said what attribute of the element you want selected. My advice is to go back to this video and check around 1:41. You'll see that he has first selected an element and assigned it to a variable. But then later, he accesses the attribute of the element stored in that variable.

However, if you'll notice the variable name is inputValue which means we need to select the value attribute of that element. I think you can get it with these hints, but please let me know if you're still stuck! :sparkles:

I'm stuck on this one too! Do I need to make a function? I feel like this is so stupid simple, but I am not sure what is the correct answer.
