The code below works for me:

def loopy(items):
    # Code goes here
    for item in items:
        if item[0] == "a":
            continue
        else:
            print(item)

Happy Coding!

Wrong braces used .When indexing always use [] SQUARE Brackets. Code:

def loopy(items):
    for item in items:
        if item[0]=='a':
                continue
        print(item)
