11,309 PointsCan't figure out the first part of the challenge
Challenge wants me to add the links from the nav links to the variable navigationLinks. I don't recall learning how to select a specific set of elements rather than all, other than using an ID or class. I tried assigning a class to the links and using that - no dice. I googled it, found how to select a tag element specified by the parent - that didn't work either. Tried everything I can think of and all I get are "Bummer" messages - no guidance.
let navigationLinks = document.getElementsByTagName('nav>li>a');
let galleryLinks;

231,248 PointsThe "getElementsByTagName" method only takes a single tag name argument, you can't use complex CSS-type selectors with it. For that, you might want to use "querySelectorAll" instead.
But the selector is also not valid, since the list items are not direct children of the nav
element. You could fix it by adding the list itself into the selector chain, but you can also simplify it by using a descendant selector instead to literally target "links in the nav" ("nav a
").
