Cant figure out whats wrong here

I've tried to figure out the mistake and I can´t keeps telling me that e its not the target and cant aply the changes

Hi Hector,

The 'p' tag comes before the button, not after. Try 'previous' instead of 'next'.

const list = document.getElementsByTagName('ul')[0];

list.addEventListener('click', function(e) {
  if (e.target.tagName == 'BUTTON') {
    e.target.previousElementSibling.setAttribute("class", "highlight");
  }
});
