Can't find .htaccess in XAMPP

I enabled hidden files in my file explorer yet I can't find .htaccess anywhere in the XAMPP folder. I tried searching the whole thing and found a few html files but that's it.

The .htaccess overides apache config files for the directory it is located in. SO typically if you can't find a .htaccess file it means that there is none. just create a .htaccess in your working directory and copy the content from the video.
