Can't finish Challenge because of Communication Problem

Every time I get to the 4th part of this Challenge, it gives me a communication error and asks me to restart the challenge. I know practice makes perfect but come on, I've restarted this challenge 15 times already...

I searched this error and a couple of months back Team Treehouse acknowledged it and said that it was fixed. It's obviously not fixed and really frustrating.

Please help fix this, I was really excited about Team Treehouse but this is a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

You can copy the code and keep it even if it fails, just dont restart the challenge.

You can paste the full code in and it will count it as valid even for the earlier parts.

I've had that issue as well, and if it doesn't seem to be going away, just skip it for now and come back later.

I often get that same message when I have more than one window open...which I need open to get through this stuff. I've tried several things Treehouse has suggested and it still acts up. It's so frustrating that I'm looking to going to a different on-line training site. It adds lots of time to doing these challenges! The only way I've found to get past the communication error is to keep on hitting submit.

Thank you! That helped me get through the challenge. I sent an email to Treehouse regarding this and they just said that the problem must be on my end. For some reason though, when I copy and paste like you said and click submit within 3 seconds, it seems to work. If I take any longer, it will give me the error again every time.

I don't usually have more than one window and I still get this error. Treehouse support said that it might be my browser or network. I've used different networks and still get the same thing. I'm using Chrome OS so it's the Chrome browser. I really hope they fix this soon as it wastes a ton of time.

Just in case anyone else is having this error, if you do this on incognito mode with all your extensions off, you won't get this error anymore. Not sure which extension was giving me the issue but I haven't had this issue ever since.
