10,747 PointsCan't get my code to work. Is there something I am doing wrong?
I have tried this out but I keep getting a "Bummer! Did you use ",".join()?" but I did...? Not sure where to go from here.
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {} ."
display_menu = sundaes
print(menu.format(",".join(display_menu)))

12,755 Pointsdon't worry, the description was a little confusing. However, there are a few things that will have to be changed in order to get your code to work.
- for the final line of the code it wants
menu = menu.format something
instead of
print(menu.format something)
- although it shouldn't make a difference,
display_menu = sundaes"
format(", ".join(display_menu))
it seems to need
display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)
format(display_menu)
- whew...now for the last item in your code you have (",") without space where it should be (", ") with a space
Let me know if you need any more help

10,747 PointsThis was the question asked:
Alright, let's finish making our menu. Combine the sundaes list into a new variable named display_menu, where each item in the list is rejoined together by a comma and a space (", "). Then reassign the menu variable to use the existing variable and .format() to replace the placeholder with the new string in display_menu. If you're really brave, you can even accomplish this all on the same line where menu is currently being set.
