Cant get past this challenge: The And (&&) Operator

I do not know what I am doing wrong, please help.

def check_speed(car_speed)
  if car_speed > 40 && car_speed <= 50
    return "safe"
    end
end

I don't know anything about ruby but it seems like you forgot an equal sign after the greater than. It says at least 40 :)

  if car_speed >= 40 && car_speed <= 50
