Can't get through step 2! what is wrong with my code?

Can someone tell me what is the matter with my code? why it doesn't pass step 2?

id thing = nil;
NSNumber *thing = @4;

Hi there,

You don't need to declare thing as an NSNumber; you just need to assign an NSNumber to it:

thing = @4;

That should work fine.
