1,860 Pointscan't seem to put it all together
I understand the separate parts of the question, but I feel like I can't put it altogether
# EXAMPLE
import random
def random_item():
for item in items:
number=random.randint(0,len(item)-(1))
item[number]
return
# random_item("Treehouse")
# The randomly selected number is 4.
# The return value would be "h"

231,236 PointsYou're close, seems like you got the most important parts already.
Here's a few hints:
- Your function needs to take an argument. Put its name inside the ()'s in the def.
- You won't need a loop ("for").
- Put the value you want to return after the word "return" (instead of on a line by itself).
I'll bet you can get it now.
