can't view entire workspace layout

the videos keep showing a workspace layout that allows the user to click back and forth between css and html documents, as well as a navigation bar on the left. i can't see any of these in my browser or find out how to view them, however the applicable doc i always open in the challenge exercises. Also, my website doesn't look like the example shown in my previews, but i've passed every challenge. was i supposed to take the intiative on my own to markup my page without challenges, as well?

Hi Chris,

Use ⇧+⌘+H to show the sidebar, then open each file you'd like to appear in the tab bar. You'll then be able to switch between documents as seen in the videos.

It'd be the same, but with control instead of or command.
