Bummer! Didn't get the right results. Got [('Love', 'Kenneth', '20'), ('Chalkley', 'Andrew', '25'), ('McFarland', 'Dave', '10'), ('Kesten', 'Joy', '22')].
okay.But What I should get ?
import re
string = '''Love, Kenneth: 20
Chalkley, Andrew: 25
McFarland, Dave: 10
Kesten, Joy: 22
Stewart Pinchback, Pinckney Benton: 18'''
players = re.search(r'^(?P<last_name>\w+),\s(?P<first_name>\w+):\s(?P<score>\d+)$', string, re.M)

Treehouse Moderator 68,457 PointsYou regex isn't capturing "Stewart Pinchback, Pinckney Benton", someone with two first and two last names. To also capture Stewie Baby, create a character class (or set) to capture a either a word character or a space.
Using re.X
(re.VERBOSE
) to allow verbose line wrapping for more readable code and to allow comments (see docs)
players = re.search(r'''
^(?P<last_name>[ \w]+),\s # added brackets [ ] and a SPACE
(?P<first_name>[ \w]+):\s # added brackets [ ] and a SPACE
(?P<score>\d+)$''', string, re.X | re.M)

231,275 PointsThe result they are expecting is likely to be this:
[('Love', 'Kenneth', '20'), ('Chalkley', 'Andrew', '25'), ('McFarland', 'Dave', '10'), ('Kesten', 'Joy', '22'), ('Stewart Pinchback', 'Pinckney Benton', '18')]
You probably need to adjust your expression so it will include that last line.
