Why do I catch 0 links instead of 3?

The first problem is your document.getElementByTagName all you have to do is change it to the document that will select all the links within the <nav> which is the document.querySelectorAll
The second problem is ('nav ul li'); You need to select all of it with something that looks like that 'nav a'

document.querySelectorAll("nav a")
