Challenge Task 1 of 1 in the last section of JavaScript Basics. I have adjusted the second variable to be "Thursday"

And now get the message that I'm supposed to, however the prompt keeps telling me I have not completed the challenge.

Any helpful hints?

First you need to set the default variables to there initial values. This is a lesson on the AND (&&) operator and the OR (||) operator. All you need to do is to look at each branch and ask yourself should the operator be wither and or or.

Here is the first branch of the conditional:

if ( money >= 100 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");

we have two variables to work with 1. money and 2. today. So read the code and ask yourself if I have less then $100 and today equals Friday then do something, NOT or today is Friday. the var today will always be Friday. So it makes sense that you use the && operator in this instance. See below. 

if ( money >= 100 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");

There is also an issue in the last if statement .
