Challenge Task - Using an IF conditional statement

Not sure what I'm missing in my code.

Hello Benjamin, You're missing brackets between your condition and also have an extra equal sign that'll make it not work. Your example:

if answer === "JavaScript" { alert("You are correct"); }

Remove one equal sign and adding in the brackets will fix the code above, For example:

if (answer == "JavaScript") { alert("You are correct"); }

The === is fine. It checks if both sides have the same value and type.
