I did exactly what you stated from the beginning and it kept stating it was wrong. I refreshed and tried again and it worked. It must have been hung up in a loop of some sorts. Thank you for your help!

Hey Kristin,

Where are you stuck on the challenge? If you're unsure on how to alter the color of the h1 to purple, here's an example where I'm selecting all h4 elements and changing the color to red:

h4 {
    color: red;
}
