Change the color of the H1 tag to purple

how do i change the color of the h1 tag to purple?

Remove the paragraph tags so the content is just between <h1> and </h1>

Then add the following to styles.css:

h1 {
  color: purple;
}

The quiz is asking you to change the paragraph tag to an h1 tag, but you actually wrapped the paragraph tag in an h1 tag, which results in invalid HTML.

So this:

<p>Welcome to My Web Page!</p>

Should become this:

<h1>Welcome to My Web Page!</h1>

Then you can properly style the h1 tag with the purple color in your CSS file like this:

h1 {
   color: purple;
}
