change the uppercase letter

I want to change the upper case of that string

var userName = ('id'.toUpperCase());

Hiya Mohd! You dont have to put quotes around "id" coz its a variable not a string. Putting quotes around id , changes the "string" id to Upper Case , not the "id" variable.

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase();
