Changes made to index.html in Atom are not making visible changes in Chrome after refreshing browser

When using Atom, though I have the "project" folder file open with index.html and article.html in Chrome, after making changes, I am not able to see visible changes in the browser, after saving in Atom and refreshing browser. Some of my pictures don't show up and it still does the link back to the directories, like the video's example, instead of working correctly. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong?

Did you have trouble at first saving in Atom?

When I save my changes they aren't made visible in the browser and when I close and reenter "project" the changes aren't saved as well.

Actually nvm, i realized my problem was unrelated to any of that haha. My pictures weren't showing up correctly even though I was refreshing in the browser because I did not tag my img with .jpg. Wow
