character set attribute

I'm doing the meta element like they're supposed to for the challenge, but it's not running it through.

Can you post your code so we can see exactly what you are doing?

Make sure you're not ending your <meta> line with </meta>, as it doesn't require a closing tag. Also be sure you have quotes around the "utf-8".

<meta charset="utf-8">

Okay, I see what I did.I wrote as charaset instead of charset. Added an extra a in there. Thanks!
