JavaScript JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects Simplify Repetitive Tasks with Loops Create a `do...while` loop

Code block for challenge not working

var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?"); do { secret; } while(secret !== "sesame") document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

Since I am running secret; in the loop I keep getting the error the prompt is not being called inside the loop even though i declared it and it is.

script.js
var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
do { secret; } while(secret !== "sesame")
  document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

Declaring a variable outside of the loop doesn't always mean you have to give it a value right away. Try giving it the prompt value inside the loop.

var secret;
do {
    secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
} while (secret !== "sesame")
  document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

Thank you both for helping! And sorry for the delay!
