HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Create Navigation with Lists

Code Challenge #2

The question is Add the links to the code, Portfolio, About and Contact

Portfolio is supposed to be index.html About is supposed to be about.html Contact is supposed to be contact.html It keeps saying "Bummer!" Please help!

I think you're missing your closing </a> on all three li's would be something like the following.

    <li>><a href="index.html"Portfolio</a></li>
    <li>><a href="about.html"About</a></li>
    <li>><a href="contact.html"Contact</a></li>

Your link tags are not closed.

<a href="index.html"Portfolio

for example needs to be closed on both sides;

<a href="index.html">Portfolio</a>

I believe you have forgotten to close your<a> tag and you have a missing</nav>tag as well, try the code below.

 <nav>
        <ul>
        <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
        <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
        <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
       </ul>

      </nav>

There was also an extra > between li tag and the a tag. Hope this helps!
