Code Challenge: Array size and length

float real_numbers [2] = { 11.11 22.22 33.33 44.44 55.55 };

Hi Kristanya!

Arrays in C follow the general structure:

datatype arrayName [ arraySize ] = { value1, value2, value3, value4 };

If you just want to initialize an array and set its size:

float real_numbers[5];

Since you have the values for the array, you don't need to set the size of the array:

float real_numbers[] = { 11.11, 22.22, 33.33, 44.44, 55.55 };

You can omit the size of the array upon initialization, as it will simply determine the size based on the number of values that you give it. Also, make sure that you separate each value in the array with a comma ,

This is also valid:

float real_numbers [5] = { 11.11, 22.22, 33.33, 44.44, 55.55 };

I hope that helps to clarify!
