Code challenge editor is completely grayed-out, no code is viewable or editable.

The code challenge editor box for:

"Challenge Task 1 of 3 Remove the underlines from all the links on the page."

in the web design program is dark gray, and has no code or text except for the css/main.css tab at the top, and the number 1.

I've tried refreshing my screen, and then signing out and back in to my account, but this did not fix the problem. Please advise, thank you.

css/main.css

I've had the same issue on a few challenges. When I completely close out of my browser and open a new session it seems to correct the problem. It may be a browser or connection issue ... I use Google Chrome.

Terri, When I clicked on "preview" it worked as normal, but I see what you mean: you can't view the html file in the editor. I would go ahead and write the code it's asking and see if that works.

Let me know if you need help with the answer. Hint:

Thank you Elizabeth, I managed to get through the challenge with your help. I'm a complete beginner, so being confronted with a totally blank editor was terrorizing, but when I entered the code you suggested everything seemed to work fine. Thank you for taking the time to answer!
