19,845 Pointscode challenge problem
I am having trouble with this code challenge. Any help would be appreciated.
Add a conditional statement that opens an alert dialog box with the message "You are correct" when the answer contains the string 'JavaScript'.
var answer = prompt("What is the best programming language?");
if (answer === "Javascript" ) {
alert("You are correct");
}

44,592 PointsJavaScript is case-sensitive... There's a little hint. :)

3,473 PointsJames is spot on here. This isn't anything serious, just a minor typo.
"when the answer contains the string 'JavaScript'."
Make sure your string is exactly as needed in the exercise's instructions.

2,307 PointsAnother hint to add to help you solve this is to think about the: toUpperCase() Method http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/jsref_touppercase.asp

44,592 PointsGood point. However, I think the utility of the toUpperCase() method will depend on whether the exercise in question expects a program that will match the content (independent of capitalization) or the EXACT string "JavaScript". In other words, using this method will depend on what you're expecting of the user.

3,473 PointsAgreed. Aaron, you'll need it eventually, but this exercise doesn't use the toUpperCase() method in it's solution.
