Code challenges

When taking the code challenge, I wish to be able to access the Workspace Document, and, more importantly, to keep it on the screen while I do the challenge. I find, however, that when I click on the challenge part of the screen, the Workspace screen disappears. Is there a way to keep both up at the same time? Thank you.

Hi Stephen,

once your Workspace is opened on "the other" TAB, drag it out of your main browser window and place it next to your main browser window, scale bolt to fit both halfs of your screen and there you go :) video and workspace next to each other :)

hope that helped

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question, Pav. I will know if it worked next time I take a code challenge. I am able to get the screens next to each other; it's just that every time I click on the Code challenge screen, the Worskspace screen disappears.

I agree with what Pav suggested. On my laptop, I have my Workspace open in a completely different window and alt+tab between the two or let the video window play beneath the scaled down Workspace window. On my dual screen PC, I have a window with Treehouse open on one screen and my Workspace on another. I have yet to have issues with the Workspace closing down while doing challenges.

Thanks Byron, Pav; I made it through the Code challenge. Not easy!

Well done Stephen, keep the momentum goin and dont give up :) Happy coding !

other method i would suggest would be opening it in a totally different browser, lets say firefox and chrome next to each other, maby that will do the trick, firefox for your video and chrome for your code due to the fact that whilst inspecting html elements, box models etc. teamtreehouse tutors use chrome.

Maby that would work for you. On the end of the day we need to know all the different bits and pieces that go along writingour code and checking the outcome on different web browsers. (if my english doesnt make sense i do appologize :P )
