Treehouse TeacherHi there, Oleg Fedorov! It doesn't produce any errors, but it doesn't work as expected, which is slightly different. Right now, you're sending in laps as a parameter, which is what you want. But then you immediately overwrite that to be 0. So it doesn't matter what anyone sends in, it still gets set to 0 regardless. The key here is to set a default value for laps
so that if they put in nothing, it will be 0, but otherwise, it will be whatever they gave to the __init__
.
Consider the following:
def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, laps=0, **kwargs):
self.color = laps
