You are missing some closing curly braces in some of your if statements:

Replace your JavaScript file with this one, in which I added corrected curly braces:

var correctGuess = false;

var randomNumber = Math.floor(Math.random() * 6 ) + 1;

var guess = prompt('I am thinking of a number between 1 and 6. What is it?');

if (parseInt(guess) === randomNumber) {
  correctGuess = true;
}

if (correctGuess) {
    document.write('<p>You guessed the number!</p>');
}
else if (parseInt(guess) < randomNumber) {
  var lowerGuess = prompt('<p>Wrong! but guess again! it\'s higher</p>');
  if (parseInt(lowerGuess) === randomNumber){
    correctGuess = true;
  }
}
else if (parseInt(guess) > randomNumber) {
  var higherGuess = prompt('<p>Wrong! guess again! it\'s lower</p>');
  if (parseInt(higherGuess) === randomNumber){
    correctGuess = true;
  }
}
else {
    document.write('<p>Sorry. The number was ' + randomNumber + '.</p>');
}
