2,067 PointsCode won't validate. What am I doing wrong?
Rechecked spelling between parameters and variables and it appears to be good. The only thing I could think to change would be the location of where I call he AJAX request within the Doc.ready function but doubt this will make a difference. I am sure I am missing something obvious.
Thanks!
$(document).ready(function() {
var weatherAPI = 'http://api.openweathermap.org/data/2.5/weather';
var data = {
q : "Portland,OR",
units : "metric"
};
function showWeather(weatherReport) {
$('#temperature').text(weatherReport.main.temp);
};
$.getJSON(weatherAPI, data, showWeather(weatherReport));
});

28,880 PointsHi, Austin. I don't think you need to pass an argument to the showWeather function.
$.getJSON(weatherAPI, data, showWeather);
