Column layout not working

I have watch the video three times already and I typed the code exactly as it is shown but I don't see the changes happening on my browser. All I see is two columns. I triple check the media querie's rule, also the id on the contact page. I am using Firefox. I don't want to move on until I find our what is wrong.

Thanks for replying Matt. I finally found what I was doing wrong. I missed to put the responsive.css file inside main.css. That is why I wasn't seeing any changes on the browser.

Have a great day!
