786 PointsCombining Strings Question.
I have tried inputting this every way I have been taught, both with += and added individually to the string (both all in one line of code and seperated) yet am still getting a wrong answer. Any ideas?
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = id.toUpperCase ();
userName += toUpperCase.lastName + "#";

5,041 PointsBarbara, You are on the right track. You just need to call the .toUpperCase() function by placing the parenthesis to the end of the function name.
var userName = id.toUpperCase();

786 PointsThank you! For any others having this problem, it also has to be on a single line.
