Communication Problem

I have been trying to submit the last task, but it always stalls out and says there was a communication problem. I can't finish the task, I don't know why it is doing this

even.py
import random
start = 5
def even_odd(num):
    # If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
    # Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
    return not num % 2
while start:
    num = random.randint(1, 99)
    if even_odd(num):
        print('{} is even'.format(num))
    else:
        print('{} is odd'.format(num))
start -= 1

Your while loop has no end. That gives that error. Just indent start -= 1 insede the loop.

I tried this code and it works

while start:
    num = random.randint(1, 99)
    if even_odd(num):
        print('{} is even'.format(num))
    else:
        print('{} is odd'.format(num))
    start -= 1 # indented in the loop

Hey John Paul,

Occasionally, code input can be the source of a communication error. I ran your code on my end and received the same error.

I noticed that your start decrement is outside your while loop. Perhaps take a peek at that? Good luck, keep up the hard work!
