2,017 PointsHi Craig,
This is the full answer to the code challenge.
<?php
$flavor = "cookie dough";
echo "<p>Your favorite flavor of ice cream is ";
echo $flavor;
echo ".</p>";
if ($flavor == "cookie dough")
{
echo "<p>Randy's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!</p>";
}
?>
So on the third part of the code challenge it asks you to put an if statement around the last echo command because "Randy's favorite flavor is cookie dough, also!" wouldn't make sense if your favorite flavor is something else. This means that if the piece of text contained in the $flavor variable is "cookie dough" then the last statement will be echoed.
Finally, on the fourth part it simply asks you to change your $flavor variable to contain "cookie dough" before the fourth part of this challenge my $flavor variable had chocolate in it, meaning that when it gets to the if statement, it will not echo Randy's favorite flavor.
I hope that helps,
Tom.
