Completing 2 Techdegree certifications at once?

Hello!

I'm in a position where I could afford to take two Techdegree certifications at one time. My thought was Front End Development + Full Stack Javascript.

I considered Treehouse as an alternative to to a more expensive, physical Bootcamp that doesn't allow me to include any Front End Development.

I've already worked as a self-taught web design / developer for 3 -4 years and would like to fully update my skills in order to improve my own business or get a distinct job (remote or physical).

My plan is to spend about 3-4 hours daily on Treehouse, so I'd think that would allow me to complete the program quickly.

Is it possible to complete 2 certifications at one time?

Also, is the absolute minimum amount of time 6 months for completion?

I admire your ambition!

I do not think you can work on two certifications at one time. I assume you can work on one certification and then switch periodically. I am not sure how that would influence the six month requirement.

As a Techdegree student you have access to all the content in the Tracks and the Library so there is a lot of material to study.

I think one certification is challenging in itself. I have wondered if I finish in less than six months what would happen. I would assume I would begin another certification and receive the Techdegree on my six month anniversary.

Yes, the absolute minimum amount of time for completing a Techdegree is six months.

Hi Mark,

It does look like you're expected to do one certification at a time. Perhaps a better idea is to do Front-end with the normal Tracks / Library, and pursue Full Stack Javascript as the certificate?
