What is wrong with my code?

script.js
var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");
} else if ( money >= 50 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money > 10 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( money <= 10 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else {
  alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");

Try changing all instances of || which means "or" to && which means "and". That way each step makes sure it is Friday in addition to checking the amount of money.

Darn, I wish it was Friday now. :o

Hey Martin,

You'll need to change the logical operators. With them being || (OR), the first conditional will always pass, because only one needs to evaluate to True and it is Friday.

The operators should be && (AND) so that both need to evaluate to True.

Change all of them and you should be good to go.

Keep Coding! :)
