Conditional statement help!

I feel that my () is incorrect but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I tried with an ; at the end of the alert statements too, but it seems something else isn't in order. Please help! I was on a roll!

script.js
var a = 10;
var b = 20;
var c = 30;

if (a > b) {
 alert('a is greater than b')
}

else (a < b) {
 alert('a is not greater than b')
}
index.html

Thanks! I spent a few more minutes and realized the else didnt need a condition (). Appreciate the quick response though :)
