Confused !!! Need Help...

I wonder why do I need to copy the xamplite folder in my Program Files folder at first and again in the C drive...

You don't have to put it in the Program Files folder. The Desktopserver installation says "Drag the xampplite folder to your c:\ hard drive.". I think he only unzip the folder there.
