iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Functional Programming in C Functions

Confusion

Hello, I've been getting very confused with the functions and need a bit of help.

The question being asked is this: "Implement a function named "addTwo" that returns the sum of two floats. The function will accept two float numbers as arguments and return a float which is the sum of the two arguments passed to the function. (No need to write the main function just write out the implmentation for the addTwo function)."

This is what I've been entering:

int addTwo();

{ float 21; float 55; }

int addTwo() { return 21 + 55; }

Thanks in advance for any help! -Louis

Hi Louis,

you have to use variables as arguments like

float addTwo (float a, float b) {
return a + b;
}

Kind Regards Holger

Hmmm, thanks for trying, but I still can't seem to get it working... any other ideas?
