console error in video

i tested the same code in the js console in chrome

but never the error occured that is in the video shown??

It depends on how your code was formatted.

If you want to post your code, I can take a look at it and tell you why it didn't give you an error. Also, I've noticed that at least Safari returns an empty string, not null, when you hit cancel, and so, the error might not appear. Again, it all depends on the code you use and your browser.

Hey Britta!

With my projects, often the console error can be as simple as a spelling mistake, or I've forgotten to add some punctuation. If you follow the example line for line, you should figure out what's missing – sometimes it's a single character! As Marcus said though, if this doesn't work, it would be great to see your code so we can help out.

Isaac

Isaac,

She was attempting to replicate the error, but she couldn't and that's what she was asking about.
