Is this a pre-defined error message inside rails? I accidentally typed a period at the the end of it in my test file(create_spec.rb) and the test has failed. The view puts these messages with the code below so I'm guessing it is but just to be sure:

    <% @todo_item.errors.full_messages.each do |msg| %>

<%= msg %>

    <% end %>

Thanks in advance!

Yes ,they are built-in:

Just remove the dot from test. Changing the default message will be much harder.
