CSS CSS Layout Techniques Float Layout Mobile First Layout

Correction on this lesson

I corrected what seems to be an error on this lesson (https://teamtreehouse.com/library/css-layout-techniques/float-layout/mobile-first-layout). When coding for mobile sites, it would want to get rid of the ul decorations and left padding. So I added the following:

ul[class="main-nav"] { padding: 0; list-style-type: none; }

Correct?

I'm not too sure what exercise you're referencing, but you're using an attribute selector in place of a class selector. ".main-nav ul"

Yes, I needed to target main-nav within ul . which solved the issue. Be well.
