Hi Vladimir,

Giving you the answer would be incorrect on my behalf so instead I will give you some hints.

document.querySelector()/querySelectorAll() -

Many developers use this way because it is extremly flexable, inside the parenthesis you as an argument it accepts :

  1. Tag/Element name
  2. Class selector
  3. Id Selector
  4. Pseudo:Class
  5. Basically every way you can think of selecting elements in CSS is accepted as an argument in querySelector

The differences are :

  1. If there is more than 1 instance of an element that matches the specified argument and the method is querySelector() it will return the 1st element that corresponds to the selector based on the order in the source code.
  2. querySelectorAll() returns a collection of HTML elements/objects.

document.getElement/sByClass/Id/Tag() -

This method is less flexable then the querySelector() but developers still use it. To select an element by an attribute or a type it has it's own specific method in this category.

Note - 2 methods return a collection(array) of HTML elements. getElementsByClass() & getElementsByTagName()

Hopefully this helps,

~ Shay ~

I keep trying but withtout success.

Whatever I try it returns me an error. If I receive the solution, I can see what is the answer and where I was making mistake.

Why would it be cheating? I am in the phase of learning. I am not pursusing any degree or passing any test? I only want to get familiar with this languague not to become a pro.

Thanks for your help.
