Could it be that there is a bug in the test? If I want to type a number the program asks for a string.

If I use a string, the program asks for a number. There is no solution possible.

The instructions say "Create a variable named myName and assign it your name as a string", so using a string is part of the correct solution.

And when you use a string, the challenge is not asking for a number. It says, "Bummer: Did you create a variable named myName and assign it a string?"

The issue isn't the value — it's from using "myAge" as the variable name instead of "myName".
