Could someone explain this code to me? margin: 0 auto;

Hi there :)

When it comes to this code

margin: 0 auto;

What does the 0 do and what does the auto do?

Supposedly this can be used to center some stuff on the page.

I watched the video but I had a bit of trouble understanding this part.

Margin is the shorthand syntax for margin-top, margin-right, margin-bottom and margin-left. So the 0 is setting the margin for top and bottom to 0. So no margin on the top and bottom. The auto is for the sides, left and right. It's setting the left and right sides to auto. So it will auto add the margins to the left and right sides, centering it on the page or in it's parent container.
