Create a breakpoint for devices 480 pixels wide or larger. Inside the breakpoint, set the h1 font-size to 2.5em

I added ....

@media screen and (min-width: 480px; ){ h1 {font-size 2.5em} }

not sure what's wrong here...

Hi there! You're doing great, but there are several errors here. And mostly, they're about placement. Take a look:

@media screen and (min-width: 480px )  /*remove the semicolon after the 480px */
{ 
  h1 {
    font-size: 2.5em;  /*put the semicolon after the 2.5em */
  } 
}

And, this goes at the bottom of the CSS file. If you put it at the top, it'll be overwritten by the code below it and the challenge will fail. Your parentheses are just fine! :smiley:

      }
