create a for loop challenge

What's wrong with my code?

var counter = 4;

for ( var counter = 4; counter < 156; counter += 1 ) { console.log( counter ); }

I also tried 157 and I get the same message. Iā€™m logging to the console 153 times. Bummer try again.

Odd ā€” if I paste that in exactly and then just replace 156 with 157 it passes the challenge.

You're close, but testing "less than" ("<") will stop counting just before 156, but the challenge wants the numbers to include 156.

Also, the line before the loop isn't necessary since the variable is declared and initialized inside the loop.
