Create a for loop that logs the numbers 4 to 156 to the console. To log a value to the console use the console.log( ) me

can't seem to pass through the bummer and find the error

If i change'' number'' for ''i'' in the console log and set it to run every number from 4 to 156 will it look like this:

for (var i= 4; i <= 156; i +=1;) { console.log (i); }

Almost there, but it looks like you still have that extra semicolon in the "for" loop clauses.

It looks like you have the right idea, but a few issues to fix:

  • there's a stray extra semicolon after the final clause of the "for" loop
  • check which way the brackets are facing, opens ({) and closes (}) should always be used in pairs
  • the instructions want you to log every number, but if you increment by 4 you will only log 25% of them
  • you have not defined anything named "number"
  • but your loop variable (i) might be good for the logging job
