Courses Plus Student 13,145 PointsYour method of declaring a variable is incorrect.
a variable is declared by simply writing the following:
var myRandomVariableNameCoolStuffBro;
variables can be instantiated without any initial value given, and later be passed a value.
myRandomVariableNameCoolStuffBro = 5;
myRandomVariableNameCoolStuffBro = 'now I am a string!';
if you want to declare a variable and pass it a value immediately,
var myRandomVariableNameCoolStuffBro = 'this value is of type string and instantly assigned to the variable';
