Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 33,271 Pointseach challenge tells you not to delete your code from previous tasks but to simply add the code for each task to what you already wrote.
andren
28,558 PointsThat would be because you removed/modified the code from the first task.
There is a message displayed above the workspace during challenges:
In each task of this code challenge, the code you write should be added to the code from the previous task.
This message tells you that when doing a challenge with multiple tasks you need to keep the code for each task around, this means that just because you moved on to task 2 does not mean you can remove the code from task 1.
Since task 1 asked you to create a firstName
variable you need to have that around in order to pass task 2 as well.
Like this:
var firstName = "Omer";
var lastName = "Cohen";
omer cohen
